Forward-focused. Results-oriented. Built around who you're trying to become — not who you've been.
Important: Coaching is a non-clinical developmental service. It is not psychotherapy and does not treat mental health conditions. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or require clinical support, please visit our clinical practice at mrmetaphysical.io.
Coaching is a results-oriented relationship between a trained coach and a client committed to growth. Unlike therapy, which often explores the past to heal psychological wounds, coaching works primarily in the present and future — helping you get clear, take action, and build the life or career you actually want.
A good coach is part thinking partner, part accountability structure, part mirror. They ask better questions than you ask yourself. They hold you to a higher standard than you hold yourself. They help you see what you can't see when you're inside your own experience.
Coaching doesn't fix you — because you're not broken. It accelerates the work you're already doing, and makes visible what's been invisible.
Coaching vs. Therapy: Therapy addresses clinical mental health conditions — depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, and psychological illness. Coaching is for people who are functioning well and want to develop further. If you're unsure which is right for you, a free discovery call can help clarify the fit.
Coaching is not one-size-fits-all. Every engagement is shaped around your specific situation, goals, and what's actually in the way.
Clarifying what you want and building a path to get there.
Navigating professional pivots with confidence and strategy.
Rebuilding energy, meaning, and momentum after depletion.
Identifying and shifting the patterns that keep you stuck.
Developing the relational skills and awareness that change everything.
Learning to lead yourself before leading others.
Developing the capacity to move through difficulty without losing yourself.
Doing the deeper work of figuring out what this life is actually for.
A free 20–30 minute conversation to explore fit, clarify your goals, and determine whether coaching is the right tool for you right now. No pressure, no commitment — just an honest conversation about where you are and where you're trying to get.
Typically 4–12 weeks of weekly or biweekly sessions, each 50–60 minutes. Between-session support — check-ins, accountability, resources — is agreed upon with your coach. Engagements are focused, structured, and outcome-oriented.
Rates vary by coach and experience level. Most coaches in our directory charge $150–$400 per session. Many offer package pricing that reduces the per-session cost for multi-week engagements. Ask about packages on your discovery call.
Coaching works when you show up ready to be honest, to think hard, and to take action. It is not passive. It does not do the work for you. The coach creates the conditions — you create the results.
The best coaching clients come in with real questions, genuine openness to being challenged, and a willingness to move. If you show up that way, coaching will deliver. If you're looking for someone to give you answers or tell you what to do, coaching probably isn't the right tool right now.
The work starts before the first session. Get clear on what you want to change, what you've already tried, and what "success" would actually look like. Your coach will help you sharpen all of that — but you need to bring the raw material.
Not sure if you're ready? Book a discovery call anyway. The conversation itself often brings clarity — and a good coach will tell you honestly if coaching isn't the right fit right now.
